1. Stop future Google Health access
- Open the third-party connections page in your Google Account.
- Select Fitness App.
- Choose the option to remove or stop access and confirm the choice.
Revocation prevents Fitness App from refreshing Google Health data. It does not remove the original health records from Google Health.
2. Request deletion from Fitness App
Email info@sandastays.co.uk with the subject “Fitness App data deletion request”. Do not include health measurements in the email. Enough information may be requested to confirm that the request comes from the account owner.
Applicable OAuth credentials and Fitness App-held Google Health copies will be removed from active systems within 30 days of a verified request. Residual encrypted backups, if any, will expire through the normal backup cycle within 90 days unless retention is required for security or law.
3. Remove information stored on the phone
Clear Fitness App’s storage in Android settings or uninstall the app to remove its on-device cache. This affects only the phone copy. Information in Google Health, Garmin or another source must be managed with that provider.
